New Years Eve Fundraiser was a huge success with a total raised of $2841.80.

We would like to thank the tourists, locals, organisations and businesses for their support.

The money we raised goes towards Veterinary accounts, medical supplies, milk formula, hard feeds, cleaning supplies and rescue and transport costs to name the main expenses. Without the support of the general public we simply could not afford to operate at the capacity we do.  We have an enormous amount of koalas and other Wildlife coming into care throughout the year.  Statistics are available on our website and financials will also be available to view on our website early in the new year, thanks to Riviera Accounting Paynesville.

We would like to thank our sponsors who made the day possible –

MENS SHED PAYNESVILLE who donated a BBQ to us to keep, just amazing!!

RITCHIE’S SUPA IGA PAYNESVILLE

FOODWORKS PAYNESVILLE

K&M PARTY MAYHEM

RIDE THE KOALAS

PIXI PALACE

UNITED FUEL PAYNESVILLE

NICKS CLOTHING BAIRNSDALE who donated our printed shirts & hats

Please support theses businesses who support the Wildlife!!

Finally thankyou to the wonderful hard working team of volunteers who work for the Shelter, an amazing group of people totally dedicated to the care of our iconic Wildlife.

Our next fundraiser will be Easter Saturday the 15th of April 2017.

Thankyou from all the Wildlife.

Easter Fundraiser – The Results

Published
20 April 2015

The Shelter wishes to say a Special Thank-you

To The Residents, Tourists, General Public, Businesses and Organisations that supported our Easter Fundraiser on April 5th, 2015.

An incredible result with $7070 raised from our Major Raffle over the past 3 months and $1900 raised from the sausage sizzle, tin rattle and day entertainment.

This could not have been achieved without the dedication and hard work of volunteers who work tirelessly to run the Shelter. An amazing group of people we thank immensely for their work.

Finally without the generosity of the following businesses & organisations the fundraiser would not have been possible

All money raised goes to the ongoing daily care of our sick, injured, orphaned & abandoned precious Wildlife and towards the building of a purpose built treatment facility, primarily for Koalas.

Raymond Island Koala & Wildlife Shelter will be holding a ‘MINI FAIR’, sausage sizzle and our annual tin rattle on Sunday 28th December at the Raymond Island Ferry Park from 9am – 4pm.

There will be lots for kids and adults to enjoy including jumping castles, fairy floss, zorb balls, face painting, snow cones, book stall, souvenirs and raffles.

We will be launching a major raffle which includes a 1st prize generously donated by Bulls Cruisers worth $2200.  We will also be running a day raffle with fantastic prizes to be won.

All money raised will go towards the building of treatment facility for Koalas. This is a facility we urgently need for ongoing care of our Koala population.

We are looking for volunteers to help us on the day with the sausage sizzle, tin rattle, stalls and selling raffle tickets.   Another great way to help us is to sell our raffle tickets.

If you would like to help please call our fund raising co-ordinator Shelley Robinson on 0438588642.

Please come along and join us it will be lots of fun!!!
